I am a psychologist and currently pursuing my PhD in psychology as a research scholar. I have finished my internship as a clinical psychologist from Santokba Durlabhji Memorial Hospital, Jaipur. Presently, I am volunteering my time as a student counselor at a school established in a semi rural area in the outskirts of Jaipur, where the children basically are from underprivileged families. Together with this I travel across the nation and attend a lot many workshops on topics dealing with adolescents and life skills, depression, stress management among young adults, capacity building etc. This way I keep on adding new skills as well as updating the already present to keep myself up to date with the present requirements in this area of counselling psychology.
In the fast paced modern world the bonding with family members is fading, and hence arise a great need of some means through which the gap can be bridged efficiently. Also there are issues which are left untouched and keep piling on resulting in widening of the gap further. Seeking for help in such a situation can work wonders as discussing about issues really helps.
