I am a psychologist and currently pursuing my PhD in psychology as a research scholar. I have finished my internship as a clinical psychologist from Santokba Durlabhji Memorial Hospital, Jaipur. Presently, I am volunteering my time as a student counselor at a school established in a semi rural area in the outskirts of Jaipur, where the children basically are from underprivileged families. Together with this I travel across the nation and attend a lot many workshops on topics dealing with adolescents and life skills, depression, stress management among young adults, capacity building etc. This way I keep on adding new skills as well as updating the already present to keep myself up to date with the present requirements in this area of counselling psychology.
Stress holds the central location in each and everyone's life these days. Getting rid of it is not practical but managing it well is possible at all steps. Stress management is in great demand with a variety of different ways to manage and positively use it so as to benefit from it. Its not about the stressor but rather one's perception about it which shapes everything. So seek help soon and don't worsen the situation by delaying it.
